PLACES |
SLEEPING PLACES IN BIG FARM HOUSE NEARBY PEER AVAILABLE:
10 euro a person a night.

This farm house is located 5 km away from 't Poorthuis and we
rented the whole place so it will be a 100% rumble farm for the weekend.
There are small rooms for 4 to 6 people as well as bigger rooms for
more people. In total there's only 61 sleeping places available, so
make your reservations soon!
ALTERNATIVE
SLEEPING OPTIONS:
There's a small hotel on walking distance
from 't Poorthuis with a few reasonable prices rooms available. Also
there's a Center
Parcs nearby Peer called Erperheide.
They have 5 person bungalows which we can get for €239,- (that's
€47,80 a person) and 2 person bungalows for € 189,-. That's
for a long weekend though, plus you get access to all facilities like
the swimming pool and midget golf etc. too. For more info contact

TO RUIN |

From Germany / Maastricht (NL)
Get on highway E314. Follow this highway in the direction
of Antwerpen. About the fifth exit on this highway on Belgian ground
is Exit Houthalen-Helchteren. Take this exit. Then follow direction
Helchteren (NOT Hasselt). Follow this road (always straight forward)
until a roundabout. About 1/3 round, follow direction Peer. On this
road there will be an exit Peer. Take this one and go to the right.
Follow for a couple of kilometers. On a ‘bridge’ you
can turn to the right, following a sign 'centrum'. (if you see a
roundabout with a big airplane you're a little too far). Follow
road until you're at the church of Peer. On the crossroad across
this church lays 't Poorthuis.
From Antwerpen (B)
Follow highway E313 in the direction of Luik. In Heusden/Zolder
there's an intersection of 2 highways. Take the other highway (E314)
in the direction of Aken (Aachen) Germany. On this highway you'll
have to take the exit Houthalen-Helchteren. Then follow direction
Helchteren (NOT Hasselt). Follow this road (always straight forward)
until a roundabout. About 1/3 round, follow direction Peer. On this
road there will be an exit Peer. Take this one and go to the right.

Follow direction Valkenswaard. In Valkenswaard you follow direction
Hamont-Achel (B). When you pass the centre of Achel on the road
that passes just by the church keep following this road, always
straight forward, passing roundabouts and intersections. You'll
pass St Huibrechts Lille, Kleine Brogel en then Peer. When you're
at the roundabout with a big airplane you go to the right. Then
you'll take the first road to the left, following the sign 'centrum'.
Follow road until you're at the church of Peer. On the crossroad
across this church lays 't Poorthuis.
