Review taken from Nothing To Do:
The Vindictives are pop-punk legends. On this record, they play two Christmas classics in their own punk rock way. Who knew a punk band could cover these two songs and do a good job? Well, i didn't until i listened to it.

Review taken from Supertrash:
This is a great holiday record! The Vindictives are back and they picked the perfect way to claim that. The record starts off with a really creepy "Happy Birthday to Jesus" song sung by Joey Vindictive. It's probably the most creepy version of "Happy Birthday" you'll ever hear in your life. Then it goes right into their rendition of "Nuttin' For Christmas" which used to be an innocent little song about a kid who's been bad this year and won't get anything for Christmas. But, leave it to the Vindictives to fuck that up and make it a punk rock classic! The best is when they inser the line "Turn his brother onto crack/ Fucked his sister in the ass/ Somebody snitched on me." That one gets me every time. On the b-side is a great version of "Jingle Bells." This version actually reminds me of what I would imagine the VANDLAS would sound like covering this song. There's a real noodly guitar solo in the middle that reminds me of Warren Fitzgerald's playing style. They rock this one out as well, though. I mean how can you not love "Jingle Bells" with crew shouts? Oh yeah, and Joey really shows his stuff at the end of this one and does his best impersonation of Mariah Carey. It's great!! Oh yeah and it comes in three different colors! You can get clear, red, or green...holiday colors, ya know? Well, anyways, I know it's past Christmas time, but you should go ahead and get this now and have it ready for next year. Sure as hell don't try to wait until next winter to get it either because this one's limited and will be out of print and unavailable by then....... -
